This latest revelation in regard to the poor state of the nation's oil pipelines are yet another crisis to be laid at the feet of the american and world public due to the neglect of the oil producers. What on earth are they doing with their record profits--why is none of this money going back into the maintenance of the delivery infrastructure? It's absolutely shameful and reprehensible on the part of the oil giants. And isn't it amazing how it provides yet another reason for oil speculation and crude prices to go further through the roof. They are destroying this country, bit by bit with their greed. (Look what they have managed to do to the car manufacturers-ask Toyota,Ford ,GM et al the principle reason sales are down and plants are being shuttered-and the first answer you will get is : "Energy and oil prices".) Let's not stoop to debate the fact that the car makers themselves have been complicit in allowing their own problems to come about as a result of lack of energy efficient vehicles-that's true as well. But no industry, bar none, rivals the oil and energy giants when it comes to taking advantage of their customers. How much longer will these megalithic companies be allowed to rape the land, the people and the very economic engine which drives this country?
This is getting ridiculous!
Oil Companies should roil in shame
